Transcripts can only be accessed through mySMU for a year after graduation. Electronic copies of transcripts are available from third-party providers like The Student Clearing House. For any further inquiries, contact the Office of Enrollment Services at 214-768-3417.
To request an Official transcript through NSC:
Official transcripts should be requested online through the NSC using either the Order Transcript/Verification tile on your Student Homepage in my.SMU or the National Student Clearinghouse secure site.
Email notifications are sent to the requester after orders are received and processed by the University Registrar. If you need assistance or have questions about the National Student Clearinghouse’s transcript ordering service, please contact them via email at transcripts@studentclearinghouse.org or phone at 703-742-7791.
**Note: Official transcripts cannot be released unless the student (or alumni) has satisfied all financial or other obligations to the University.
To view an unofficial transcript in mySMU:
Log in to my.smu.edu
Click Student Homepage
Click Academic Records
Select View Unofficial Transcript
Click the Report Type drop-down menu
Select Unofficial Student Grade Transcript
Click Go
