Accessing the Deployment Portal (Windows OS):
Click Start
Click Programs
Locate the Ivanti Management folder
Select Portal Manager
Log in with your SMU ID and password, if needed
The Portal Manager will display all available applications for your computer
Check the checkbox next to each application you wish you install
Leave the Ivanti Portal Manager open while the software installs
Restart your computer after the software has completed being installed
Accessing the Deployment Portal (Mac OS):
Click the red Ivanti icon in the upper right menu bar
Select Portal Manager
Log in with your SMU ID and password, if needed
The Portal Manager will display all available applications for your computer
Click the Install button under each application you will to install
Leave the Ivanti Portal Manager open while the software installs
Restart your computer after the software has completed being installed
If the deployment portal does not appear or does not list any applications, you may need to reinstall the LANDesk agent. Please contact the IT Help Desk for assistance at 214-768-HELP or help@smu.edu.
