The instructor will need to have a local mail client configured on the computer in order to use the Notify All Students option in the class roster. Once the local client, such as Outlook, Windows Mail, etc has been configured, the instructor can log back in to my.SMU and use the Notify All Students option in the class roster.
Note: If you are on a Mac and would like to Notify All Students through Outlook, the default mail client needs to be changed to Outlook. This can be done in Mail> Preferences
