Zoom - Managing Local Recordings location

You can modify where meeting recordings are saved on your computer. By default, the recordings are saved in the Zoom folder under Documents. 

For PC:

  1. Open and sign into the Zoom desktop app
  2. Click on the Meeting Tab on the navigation bar at the bottom of the app
  3. Select Recorded to bring up a list of the recorded meetings you have access to
  4. Select the Recording Location tab on the left navigation bar
  5. Select Change File Location
  6. Select a folder to save your recordings

For Mac:

  1. Open and sign into the Zoom desktop app
  2. Select the Zoom Settings
  3. Select Recording
  4. Select the Zoom folder where recordings are currently being stored
  5. Click on Choose a new location
  6. Choose a location for Zoom recordings

Note: You can also choose the location for recorded files after the meeting ends by checking the box on the same page.
