Uninstall - Box Sync on Mac

To uninstall Box Sync:

1. Open Finder
2. Select Applications Tab
3. Select Box Sync
4. Move Box Sync application to the trash can.
5. Empty Trash Can

A secondary method for uninstalling Box Sync: 

1. Open System Preferences 
2. Click on Extensions 
3. Click Finder in the left-hand panel.
4. Unselect Box Sync Finder Extension
5. Delete Box Sync from your Applications folder
6. Delete the following folders and files: 

         -Macintosh HD/Users/[username]/Library/Logs/Box/Box Sync/

         -Macintosh HD/Users/[username]/Box Sync/

         -Macintosh HD/Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Box/Box Sync/

         -Macintosh HD/Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.box.sync.bootstrapper

         -Macintosh HD/Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.box.sync.iconhelper

7. Delete the Box Sync password items in Keychain
8. Open Keychain Access from Applications 
9. Select Utilities
10. Click on login under Keychains in the top left
11. Click on Passwords under Category
12. Find the Box Sync items
13. Select Delete "Box Sync" in the right-click menu
